Before you get in touch, review the following list of common maintenance issues.
Is your toilet blocked?
If your toilet is clogged, you'll need to check if something is blocking the system. Pump the toilet with a plunger to see if you can dislodge the blockage. Be careful not to flush multiple times, which could cause the toilet to overflow.
The flush handle isn't working.
Occasionally, the flapper may become disconnected from the chain attached to your toilet handle. Carefully lift the lid of your toilet and verify that the chain is correctly attached.
Are outlets working properly?
If you notice an outlet is not working properly, try to plug another appliance into the same outlet to rule out equipment failure.
My entire home has no power.
Most power outages can be attributed to a flipped breaker. Reset the system to see if the power is restored. If you continue to have issues, contact your utility company.
If the hot water heater settings have been changed, you may notice a hot water shortage. Verify that the tank has not been mistakenly placed in vacation mode. Reset the tank and wait 15-20 minutes to test for hot water.
No heat or hot air? Check to make sure your thermostat is set correctly. If resetting your thermostat does not resolve the issue, call your utility provider to ensure your account is in good standing.
If you have an emergency maintenance situation in your home, call 911.
